I'll overwhelm 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
